Home mortgage refinancing is the process of refinancing the existing home mortgage with a new loan. When the current interest rates on the home mortgages are lower than those during the times in which the homeowner has taken the existing and old home loan, in order to reduce the monthly payments towards the old loan, the homeowner can refinance the present home mortgage.
